Brother John (Tony Zuber) is a Trappist monk at the
Abbey of Gethsemani in Kentucky (where Thomas Merton practiced
his faith). He is originally from Columbus, Ohio and joined
the monastery in 1990. His mountain paintings serve as an
inspiration for individuality and creativity, something Thomas
Merton found extremely important in connecting to God.
